From the "obscure world records you didn't know anybody held or was trying to beat" file comes this; Nissan is now the official Guinness World Record title holder for the "Longest Twin Vehicle Drifting."

Nissan Middle East set the record today at the launch of the "Nissan 370Z Drift Experience", a partnership between Nissan and the Prodrift Academy drifting school in Dubai.
The record was set by a Nissan 350Z and 370Z drifting in tandem along a closed slick-surface figure-eight course on their second attempt. The two cars, driven by instructors of the school, drifted together for 28.52 kilometers (17.72 miles).
Nissan Middle East also put together a short video of the record breaking attempt, complete with over-the-top music and a bunch of weird, awkward cuts. Jump to the :50 mark to get to the good stuff:
